Superstar Sanjay Dutt’s comeback venture ‘Bhoomi’ is currently being shot in Agra and the actor even visited the Sufi shrine of Khwaja Moinuddin Salim Chisti’s dargah in Ajmer. Besides, the actor has been sharing many pictures of the Taj Mahal shot from his lens.
However, now according to ANI, it is being reported that Dutt is keen on changing the release date of ‘Bhoomi’ in order to avoid any clash with Aamir Khan’s next. He has been quoted as saying, “I know the kind of hard work and effort that goes into making a film. I believe, after all the work being put in, it can’t be reduced to a clash at the box office. Aamir is a dear friend and I wouldn’t want my comeback film to be pitted against his. In this industry, we should all make an effort to help each other.”
‘Bhoomi’ was earlier scheduled to hit the screens on August 4, 2017, but looks like the makers will now have to change the date keeping Dutt’s thought in mind. The film is helmed by Omung Kumar and stars Aditi Rao Hydari in a pivotal role.
